During the consultation, we will provide an estimate of the treatment duration and the types of appliances to be used, utilizing free consultations, X-rays, and intraoral photographs (covered by insurance).
To conduct a more detailed examination, we will take facial photos and perform a CT scan. For aligner-based orthodontics, we will use an intraoral scanner to scan your teeth and perform digital planning, known as ClinCheck.
Using digital planning, we will assess your unique dental alignment, create a treatment plan, and provide a detailed explanation to you.
Based on the diagnosis, we will create custom aligners, which will be fitted in your mouth to begin the orthodontic treatment.
After completing orthodontic treatment, a procedure called retention is performed to maintain the alignment of your teeth and prevent relapse. This involves wearing a retainer.

The principle of moving teeth by applying force is the same as with traditional braces. While it is not completely painless, the process involves gradually shifting the teeth, so the discomfort is generally less than with wire braces.
If you experience severe pain that is unbearable every time you change the aligner, it may indicate that the teeth have not fully moved into place. In such cases, please consult your dental clinic.
Before starting treatment, you can view a 3D image that shows a prediction of your final teeth alignment, so you can begin the treatment with confidence.
By using retainers correctly, you can prevent your teeth from shifting back. After treatment, you will need to wear a retainer for at least 6 months as part of the retention phase.
Since teeth can shift throughout life, we recommend wearing the retainer for as long as possible to maintain the results.
